Shaded Playground

The playground was in the shade and all the equipment was in sturdy condition.

The basketball court was spacious with clear, painted lines. The basketball court was in good condition and was being used by the public. The park also has:

  • Walking loop
  • Sitting areas
Unused Indoor Space

Although the park had two multipurpose rooms, they were no longer in use. One of the rooms served as a storage room for broken equipment at the time of the Fall 2016 visit.

Restroom and Water Fountains

In one restroom, two toilets had handles that were not working. The second restroom was functional, but had a non-functioning hand dryer; it also had dim lighting. Two water fountains were assessed and functional, although one had sand in the drain.

Wear and Tear

The outdoor fitness center had worn-out and rusty bars. Most of the facilities were older and showing signs of wear and tear.
